AS part of its Connecting Communities Commitment, London Southend Airport has announced its official charity partner as South East and Central Essex Mind.
A two year charity partnership has been agreed alongside a dedicated focus on community focus with a calendar of activities scheduled.
And Glyn Jones, the CEO of London Southend Airport, is delighted to have linked up with Mind.
“We are proud to join forces to raise awareness of mental health in the workplace and our community,” said Glyn.
“Mental health is more important than ever with an increase in cases as a result of the pandemic.
“We look forward to creating opportunities to raise awareness and support through this partnership.”
And Keeley Hood, SECE Mind’s Fundraising Officer, feels the partnership will be hugely beneficial.
“As a local Mind delivering local mental health services, we welcome local responsible businesses to collaborate to bring positive change for our community,” said Keeley.
“London Southend Airport actively supports local causes and we are pleased to announce this partnership”.
