AN ACTOR from Billericay will be joining a TV drag queen contest show.
Russell Tovey has been announced as a judge for RuPaul's Drag Race UK which returns to BBC iPlayer on September 23.
The show will see UK drag queens compete in challenges to win the show.
Speaking on Instagram Mr Tovey said: "It's the best day of my life - Drag Race UK series three judge duty coming through."
RuPaul and BBC Three have revealed the next set of fabulous drag queens making their series three debut as RuPaul's Drag Race UK returns to BBC iPlayer this September.

Mr Tovey grew up in Billericay and attended Harold Court School in Harold Wood and Shenfield High School.
International drag icon RuPaul presides as twelve of the nation's most talented queens compete over ten weeks to be crowned the UK's Next Drag Race Superstar.
Each week, the queens face comedy, singing and dancing challenges that test their drag prowess, hoping they've impressed Ru enough to avoid being one of the bottom two queens facing a lip sync for their life and elimination from the competition.
