It's been another busy period time of interesting cases at the magistrates’ courts of Essex.

This week we have seen incidents such as drug dealing and possession, Maqhawemuelo Dube, 36, of Kingsman Road, Stanford-le-Hope will stand trial for drug possession and dealing charges.

He appeared at court charged with possession a quantity of Cannabis, possession a quantity of Cocaine, concerned in the supplying of a quantity of cocaine and concerned in the supplying of a quantity of cannabis. He'll be standing trial on October 7.

Gordon Lawrence, 54, of Snakes Hill, Brentwood was fined for drink driving.

He was charged with driving a car after being over the drink drive limit and he was fined £95, £105, and was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 28 months.

Daniel Jones-Rushton, 41, of Chatfield Way, Basildon was handed a fine for possession of cannabis and trespassing on Wickford train tracks. He appeared at court and admitted the charge and was handed fines of £34, £114 and £80.

Selina Dench-Holland, 41, of Wickmead Close, Southend was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm after attacking a man. She was sentenced to a community order made and told to drink no alcohol for 120 days and 25 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days and 160 hours unpaid work and fined £200.

Joshua Matthews, 17, of Rayleigh Drive, Leigh was charged with possession of an imitation firearm, namely airsoft pistol, with intent, by means thereof to cause Jamie Tripp , to believe that unlawful violence would be used against him. He was Referred to Southend youth offender panel for a contract having effect for 4 months and fined to £50 and £22.
