It's been another period in the magistrates courts - here's a round up of the cases heard.
Hollie Robinson, 36, of Luncies Road, Basildon was charged with depositing controlled waste, namely 2 bed bases, laminate flooring, wooden unit, cat litter tray, chair and approximately 10 pink sacks and 2 black sacks. The case has been adjourned to October 29 at request of the prosecution for further enquiries to be conducted before confirming final charges and whether they wish to proceed with charge and for plea.
Ryan Bonell, 40, of Rylands Road, Southend was charged with assault by beat and denied it. He was remanded on conditional bail until 17/09/2021 at 10 and the case was adjourned to tie up with other cases.
Callum West, of Bevile House, Argent Street, Grays was charged with possession of heroin and crack cocaine in Southend. He denied it and will be sent for trial on October 8.
Michael Callaghan, of Pall Mall, Leigh was charged with possession of crack cocaine and heroin in Southend, and he denied the charges and will be sent for trial on October 8.

Franklin Ike, of Whitegate Road, Southend was charged with used threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour, thereby causing that person or another harassment, alarm or distress and failure to surrender to custody. Both have been adjourned for a for a case management hearing.
Paul Jenkins, of Cromwell Avenue, Billericay was charged with possession an imitation firearm, namely a black BB gun, with intent, to cause someone to believe that unlawful violence would be used against him or another. He's been sent for trial on October 12
