A teenager was attacked by an armed masked gang who stole his coat and trainers.

The boy was was punched and his coat and trainers were taken during the incident that happened sometime between 8:20pm and 8:40pm on Thursday 9 September in Holyrood Drive, Westcliff.

The three suspects, who were all aged 17 years and wore blue surgical masks, are described as follows.

One is described as a male of dual heritage. He is 5ft 11ins tall, medium build and spoke with a deep London accent. He was wearing a grey beanie hat, grey Nike tec fleece and white Airforce 1 trainers. He was carrying a knife.

A second suspect was wearing a black top, grey joggers a cap and sliders. He was wearing a chain with a cross.

A third suspect was wearing a black tracksuit and white Airforce 1 trainers.

Both were taller than suspect one.
