Commuters are facing delays up to 25 minutes after train signalling issues has caused cancellations and delays.
c2c services are impacted after the issues between Shoebury and Thorpe Bay and bosses are reminding passengers about refund policies.
Train line bosses say due to a fault with the signalling system between Shoeburyness and Thorpe Bay fewer trains are able to run.
Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 25 minutes or revised.
The issues have now been on going for about three hours.
