FOOTAGE has revealed fire crews tackling a large fire on Canvey yesterday afternoon.
The video shows smoke billowing near a building at off Long Road at around 5pm yesterday.
Rubbish behind the store had caught fire behind the Co-op store, caused by a discarded cigarette.

A spokesman from the Essex Fire Service, said: "We were called to reports of a fire in Long Road, Canvey at 4.12pm yesterday.
"Two crews, from Canvey and Basildon, attended and found rubbish alight behind a shop.
"Crews quickly extinguished the small fire, which covered an area of approximately 15 square metres, and remained at the scene to damp down.
"It is believed a discarded cigarette caused the fire.
"Canvey Fire Station is recruiting on-call firefighters; people who all live or work within 5 minutes of an on-call fire station and attend incidents.
"If you live or work within 5 minutes of an on-call fire station, you could be an on-call firefighter. Find out more about the role at essex-fire.gov.uk/on-call."
