Basildon star Denise Van Outen has revealed she is still suffering with pain after injuring her shoulder – nearly a year ago.

Denise had been taking part in ITV’s Dancing on Ice when she slipped and suffered the injury.

It was later revealed she had numerous fractures in her shoulder and she was forced to quit the show due to the crippling pain.

Despite much of the injury clearing up, Denise has taken to Instagram to reveal she is still receiving treatment for her injuries and has been given a new diagnosis of the cause of her long-standing problem.

She wrote: “As you may know I managed to break my shoulder in three places back when I was in Dancing on Ice.(almost a year ago)

“Since then I’ve had restricted movement and pain that occasionally flares up.

"I decided that I wanted to see @osteoanisha at her clinic after seeing the amazing results she has achieved with other patients.

“She has diagnosed me with bicep tendinopathy which is inflammation of the tendon and some areas in my neck that aren’t moving which are contributing to the pain and overall reduction in movement.

“I’m going to be working will Anisha over the next few weeks and then seeing her for check ups to help with my shoulder.”

She added that she was already noticing an improvement in her shoulder after completing some physio sessions.

Denise has previously hinted she could return to the 2022 edition of Dancing of Ice and is keen to work with dance partner Matt Evers.
