A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a crash in Southend.
A parked police vehicle was hit by a car yesterday evening and then allegedly drove off.
Police gave chase and were able to stop the car when it drove into a cul-de-sac.
Officers arrested a woman on suspicion of drink-driving.
They found an eight-year-old child also inside the car.
It was the second arrest made by the Operational Support Group in Southend yesterday evening.
They had also arrested a man after they found drugs inside a BMW.
The driver reportedly had no insurance or a driver’s licence so officers seized the vehicle.
