Police have confirmed a woman has died following a crash in Essex.
Officers were called to the scene at 7.55pm yesterday (Tuesday 12 October) after a pedestrian had been in collision with two vehicles.
The pedestrian, a woman in her 20s, was treated by paramedics at the scene but she died a short time later.
The crash happened on Buckhurst Way, Buckhurst Hill, and the road was closed while police investigated.
It was eventually re-opened at 4am today.
A police spokesman said: "We need anyone who saw what happened or has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage to contact us.
