RAIL passengers are facing delays this morning after a vehicle crashed into a bridge.
The incident happened at Battlesbridge and means Greater Anglia is unable to provide services between Wickford and Southminster.
National Rail tweeted: "A vehicle has struck a bridge at Battlesbridge.
"As a result of this, all lines are blocked.
"Trains running between Wickford and Southminster will be cancelled."

It is understood the incident happened around 6am today and Network Rail's website says services will be cancelled until at least 8am.
Greater Anglia said: "Currently no train movements are allowed across the bridge until it has been assessed.
"Network Rail engineers are on route to the location.
"Currently we are trying to source buses for the line."
It has apologised to customersr affected by the incident.
Other Greaeter Anglia services are also affected by the crash, with the 7.33am service between London Liverpool Street and Southend Victoria also cancelled.
