'Naked man carried away by police' as officers surround station
A naked man was reported carried into a police van by police after officers surrounded a busy train station.
A number of police vehicles and officers were spotted at Basildon Train Station at about 6am this morning.
Images from the scene show the dramatic scenes and witnesses say a male suspect was screaming and shouting as he was carried away and put into the Essex Police van.
One witness said: "There was a massive scene outside the flats near the station. Someone was dragged out naked and they then threw up everywhere."
There were vehicles parked in Station Way and Cherrydown East after the incident this morning.
Essex Police has been contacted for comment.
