DRIVERS are battling traffic chaos this morning due to a rush-hour accident blocking a busy road and impacting several others.
The A120's eastbound carriageway between Ardleigh Crown (A12) and Hare Green (A133) is currently obstructed by a crash.
As a result of the incident queues are backing onto the A12's Colchester bypass all the way to the J27 Spring Lane turn-off.

The accident is also affecting other roads in Colchester, including the likes of Ipswich Road where traffic is set to have come to a standstill.
One driver, who is trying to travel into the town, says no cars can access the A120 from the Ardleigh interchange and police are now stopping vehicles.
