Rest in peace - Sir David Amess MP
A REMEMBRANCE service will be held in Southend tonight, in memory of Sir David Amess.
The St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, in Eastwood, will hold a service at 6pm following the tragic events this afternoon.
The Conservative MP was stabbed to death at the Belfairs Methodist Church at around midday.
He lost his life despite the best efforts of the paramdeics at the scene.
A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.

In a post on social media, said: "We shall offer Mass for the repose of the soul of Sir David Amess at 6pm this evening
"May your faithful servant Lord rest in peace."
