Police responding to incident near the Range and Covid test centre in Southend
MULTIPLE police cars have been spotted at an incident near The Range in Southend.
At least five vehicles have been seen just off Short Street, close to the Covid testing centre.
Some unmarked units are also said to be in attendance, and there is an indication and arrest has been made.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "A man made off from officers in Milton Street, Southend shortly before 2.55pm today (Monday 18 October).
"Officers detained and arrested a man a short time later in the Short Street area."
