Woman left with £300 bill for dumping drawers and carpet runner in street
A woman who dumped furniture near her house has been ordered to pay hundreds of pounds.
Karen Cummings was found to have deposited a carpet runner and two drawers in Little Searles, Basildon, when she lived.
Basildon Council prosecuted her for dumping the rubbish and Cummings, 48, appeared at Basildon Magistrates Court earlier this month.
She was fined £120 and also ordered to pay £212 in costs.
