A 17-YEAR-OLD boy was robbed by a gang of balaclava-clad bike-riding teens on Southend High Street.

Essex Police are only now appealing for information the incident Friday, September 24.

The vicitm was walking with friends on the High Street, near to the junction of London Road, at around 6.45pm when they were approached by three teenagers on bikes who began to ride around them in circles.

One of the gang demanded the victim to hand over his wallet and watch, which he did, and then the group rode off.

They have all been described as white.

An Essex Police spokesperson said: “One of them has been described as being around 14 years-old, 5ft 6ins tall, with blonde hair which looked like it had been permed, and wearing a black or dark grey tracksuit, and a black balaclava.

“The second is described as 6ft tall, broadly built, and wearing a dark grey Nike jumper, black tracksuit trousers, and a black balaclava.

“And the third has been described as 5ft 7ins tall, and wearing a light-grey coloured hooded top and a black balaclava.

“We need anyone who saw anything, has any CCTV, dash cam or doorbell footage to come forward.”
