A SECTION of a busy high street has been closed after a serious incident in the early hours of this morning.
A forensic team has been seen investigating the scene as part of High Street, Southend, remains closed.

Police officers are also guarding a cordon between Tylers Avenue and Weston Road.
Discarded clothing is surrounded by blood staining the pavement outside McDonalds, as well as seemingly abandoned paramedic kit.
It is understood the incident unfolded in the early hours of this morning, with residents reporting a huge emergency services response.
Essex Police and the ambulance service have been contacted for an update.
