A key road in Benfleet has been shut due to a crash.
The collision happened on Essex Way around 3pm today (Tuesday, November 2) and involved four-vehicles.
The road is said to be closed in both directions between Norwood Drive and High Road, and long delays are reported in the area.
AA's traffic map says traffic between Canvey and Hadleigh is also affected.

Update 6pm
The incident has been cleared and the road is now reopen.
