A MAN who made threatening phone calls to a woman and Essex Police has been spared immediate jail time.
Jamie Clark, 34, made the calls on the same day back on June 8 which court documents state aimed to cause anxiety or distress.
Clark, of Cattawade Link, Basildon, was handed six-week jail sentences for each offence, with both suspended for 12 months.
The sentences will run concurrently.

Magistrates spared Clark immediate jail time due to his family commitments.
But they handed him a restraining order preventing him from contacting two people for a year.
He must also carry out 100 hours of unpaid work, and pay costs of £273, including a £128 victim surcharge.
