Man handed £400 bill...for dropping cigarette in town centre
A MAN who dropped a cigarette in a town centre has been ordered to pay £404 for littering.
Safick Waresh was caught dropping or throwing the cigarette on the floor outside Treviot House in Ilford town centre on April 6.
Waresh, of Hillcrest View, Basildon, was taken to court by Redbridge Council and was handed a £220 fine.

Magistrates also ordered him to pay costs of £184, including a victim surcharge of £34.
Waresh’s case was heard at Barking Magistrates Court last month.
