Westcliff road shut after accident between car and pedestrian
A road in Westcliff has been closed in both directions after an accident involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
St Helen's Road is shut following the incident, which happened some time around 4pm.
The road is based between Hamlet Court Road and Milton Road.
Essex Police has since confirmed an elderly man was seriously injured after being hit by a minibus.
