A MAN has been fined for stealing ready meals and alcohol from a BP garage.
Terry Ford appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, November 4, charged with theft.
The 35-year-old of Redgrave Road, Basildon, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol, meat and ready meals with a total value of £60 from the BP garage in East Mayne, Basildon.
The case was brought against Ford by Essex Police; officers from the force had arrested him shortly after the garage theft on October 12 of this year.
Ford, who also goes by the aliases Wally Ford and Terry Wally, was ordered to pay a fine of £60 and released under the condition he does not enter the BP garage for the next 12 months.
