The Met Office has predicted exact dates parts of the UK could see snowfall in November.

As temperatures drop snow has been forecast in the coming weeks with further snowfall predicted in December too.

Other meteorologists have been bold with there claims with some predicting up to six inches of snow, particularly in the Scottish Highlands however the Met Office has downplayed claims slightly.

Met Office share exact date UK will be hit by snow in November

Weather forecasters have suggested we are likely to see snowfall in some parts around November 24.

A Met Office forecast says: "A rather cold start to the period will likely be followed by a brief recovery in temperatures.

"This is before a possible trend down later on in the month.

"This would bring an increasing chance of some wintry conditions, mainly over the higher ground in the north, but with a slight risk to lower levels."

The Met Office added Brits can expect "wintry conditions, especially across the north" in the weeks ahead.

Looking ahead to December and the possibility of a white Christmas, the Met Office has warned flurries of snow is possible in its mid to long range weather forecast covering November 25 to December 9.
