Road near Aldi store to close for six nights due to roadworks
A busy road in Benfleet will be closed for six consecutive nights due to roadworks.
Essex Highways is carrying out work on Rushbottom Lane, between Tuesday, November 30 and Sunday, December 5.
The closure will be in place each night between 8pm and 5am.
The work will see a new traffic island added and the road re-aligned.

Emergency access will be maintained at all times, while Aldi shoppers will still be able to get to the store in Rushbottom Lane during opening hours.
A diversion route will be in place throughout the closure, with traffic diverted via Kents Hill Road North and Church Road.
