Police are urging drivers to 'avoid the area' following a crash in Benfleet.
Officers are at the scene of the collision in Kents Hill Road North.
The crash happened near to the junction with London Road and the AA's traffic map says there are queues building between Sadler's Farm Roundabout and Victoria House Roundabout.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We were called to a two-vehicle collision in Kents Hill Road North, in Benfleet, shortly before 1.45pm today, Wednesday 17 November.
"Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
"The incident will affect traffic in the area as we await the recovery of the vehicles involved.
"We thank motorists for their patience."
