POLICE are dealing with an incident in Wickford Town Centre.
Reports suggest High Street has been closed in both directions due to a crash near to the railway bridge.
The incident was first reported around 10.30am and queues have formed in the town centre as a result of the closure.
The closure is in place between Market Road and The Broadway.

First Essex is reporting delays and changes to some of its services as a result of the closure.

Service 25,10,16, 94/A are currently diverting via Golden Jubilee Way and Halls Corner
Tthe East of England Ambulance Service has told the Echo a person has been airlifted to hospital following the incident.
