Residents in Southend have been warned to expect a large emergency presence in part of the town this afternoon.
Essex Fire Service says it will be sending crews to a block of flats in Sherwood Way as part of a training exercise.
It is working with housing group, South Essex Homes, on the exercise, which will be held in Longbow Flats.
The fire service is urging people not be alarmed if they see a big emergency presence in the area.
Sherwood Way is based near Royal Artillery Way and is close to Hamstel Junior and Infants schools, as well as St Nicholas School.
Southend residents, we're holding a training exercise with South Essex Homes at Longbow Flats, Sherwood Way in Southend tomorrow (19 November) from 2:30pm.
