A DOG stolen from a residential home during a masked raid has been returned safely.

Queenie, an 11-month old XL American Bully puppy, was stolen from a Shoebury home on Monday.

CCTV footage shows two masked raiders scale a garden fence before pulling the dog by her collar from the home, near Shoebury Park.

Owner Jude Moore, 26, has posted a video to social media captioned "My baby's home we're [sic] she belongs".

A woman has since been arrested in connection with the incident.

An Essex Police spokesman confirmed a woman was arrested in relation to the incident.

They said: “A woman has been arrested at an address in Romford in connection with a burglary which took place in Shoebury.

“Between 8.15am and 10.10am on Monday November 22, two people entered a home through a back door and stole a large brown and cream American XL Bully dog from the property.

“They left the area with the dog in a 4x4-style vehicle. A woman was arrested in connection with the incident. She will be questioned on suspicion of burglary.

“The victims are being kept up to date with our enquiries. Anyone with information or doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage of the area between 8.15am and 10.10am on Monday should call us immediately on 101 and cite incident 407 of November 22.
