Christmas is on the horizon and for some festive lovers, getting the tree up early adds to the magic.

We asked readers if they were putting up their trees in November and hundreds of people showed us photos of their beautiful seasonal delights.

Rachael Darby said: “We did ours today. I’ve been asked why so early? All I can say is it makes me happy. We do it over the weeks leading up to Christmas.”

Katrina Howard Wallace admits hers has been up a while now. “Been up two weeks, and we are loving the Christmas happy vibes,” she says.

It was while putting her Halloween decorations away that gave Tina Marie the idea: “We did ours today, was going to wait but the Halloween decorations needed to go in the loft anyway so...”

Billie-Rose Woodcraft wowed with her stunning tree, She said: “I was up until 3am. This tree took five hours in total.”

Kelly Alexander could see her son wanted to put the tree up and decided to go for it.

“Our son is autistic and this is the first Christmas he has taken any interest, also it’s the first Christmas he could talk and he asked if we could put the tree up. He’s loving having the tree up.”

Vikki Ray said: “House full of girls so we have a white and pink sparkly Disney themed tree.”

For the second year running Cliff Larkin is raising money for children’s charity, The Indee Rose Trust, by ‘fining’ those who put their trees up early.
