2 charged after police raids in connection with drugs and weapons in south Essex
TWO people have been charged in connection with an investigation into drugs and weapons in south Essex.
Officers raided two addresses in Celandine Close, South Ockendon, and Cricketers Lane, Herongate, last week.
Annie Atkinson, 28, of Cricketers Lane, Herongate, and Manie Besjerdi, 30, of Celandine Close, South Ockendon, were arrested and later charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
They appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Friday (November 26) and are next due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on January 4.
