SIX drivers have been fined for running red lights in Southend.
The offenders all appeared in magistrates court in Essex last month where they were sentenced for breaching section 36(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1988.
The six people fined were:
David Pitts, 29 and of Woodgrange Drive, Southend, was caught on July 31 driving through traffic lights on the A127 in Southend which had turned red three seconds before.
He was fined £68, ordered to pay costs of £74 and three points were added to his licence.
John Magnurson, 60 and of Royston Avenue, Southend, was caught on July 31 driving through traffic lights on the A127 in Southend which had turned red three seconds before.
He was fined £146, ordered to pay costs of £124 and three points were added to his licence.

Zoe Brown, 26 and of Hampton Gardens, Southend, was caught on July 31 driving through traffic lights on the A127 in Southend which had turned red three second before.
She was fined £116, ordered to pay costs of £124 and three points were added to her licence.
Irene Nugent, 65 and of Eastern Esplanade, Southend, was caught on August 2 driving through traffic lights on the A127 in Southend which had turned red three seconds before.
She was fined £158, ordered to pay costs of £124 and three points were added to her licence.
Tracey Gregory, 56 and of Wick Chase, Southend, was caught on July 31 driving through traffic lights on the A127 in Southend which had turned red three seconds before.
She was fined £133, ordered to pay costs of £124 and three points were added to her licence.
Tina Cussen, 57, was caught on July 31 driving through traffic lights on the A127 in Southend which had turned red three seconds before.
She was fined £96, ordered to pay costs of £124 and three points were added to her licence.
