A huge police presence with 20 armed officers flooded a street after an incident - according to worried residents.
Families in Suffolk Avenue, Leigh reported seeing the huge presence and say about four people were arrested from a home in the street on Monday night.
It's understood police were still on the scene on Tuesday morning.

One worried mother said: "There were around 20 armed officers all in black, a police dog, 4 people were taken into police car and there were two officers on bikes.
"I also saw under cover police cars with non uniform police too, and big police vans and some police cars.
"Neighbours just want to know what's gone on its a quiet street."
Essex Police has been contacted for comment.
