A MAN has died following a collision in Westcliff last month.

A minibus collided with a pedestrian on St Helens Road around 4pm on Tuesday, November 9.

The pedestrian, a man in his 80s, was taken to hospital in a life-threatening condition.
Sadly, he has now died.

The driver of the minibus was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit through drink or drugs.

He has been released under investigation while police enquiries continue.
