SEVERAL drivers have been reported by police in connection with reports of cars racing around a major shopping centre.
Officers from Thurrock and the roads policing unit were called to Lakeside overnight to deal with reckless boy racers who were using the surrounding roads to perform stunts and drive at speed.
One of the drivers involved had their bike seized after they were found to have no insurance.

They had gained the attention of officers after they were seen performing a wheelie.
The roads policing unit tweeted: “South RPU officers assisted Thurrock Police last night for reports of reckless drivers racing on roads around Lakeside.
“In addition to the numerous drivers reported for a variety of offences, this bike was seized no insurance after the rider was seen pulling wheelies.”
