A MOTORIST was fined after they drove down the wrong side of the motorway after answering an SOS call from a stranded pal.
The Essex Roads Policing team revealed officers were called to the crazy incident on the M11 last night.
The driver who was seen driving the wrong way along the motorway was reportedly trying to find a friend whose vehicle had broken down.
The roads policing unit tweeted: “When broken down on the motorway use a recognised company to assist.
“Don't use your mate to drive the wrong way to help jump start your car.
“Driver was fined and points placed on licence.”
