A WOMAN has died following a serious collision involving three vehicles.
The fatal collision occurred on the B1007, near Horndon-on-the-Hill, at about 9.30pm last night.
Sadly, Essex Police has confirmed a 46-year-old woman has died as a result of the incident.
Officers closed the road, which is just off the Basildon-bound A13, following the collision and reopened it in the early hours of this morning.

They stated no other serious injuries were reported.
A police spokesman added: “We are also continuing to appeal for witnesses to the incident or anyone with dashcam footage of it to come forward.”
