A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of Dwayne Forrester.
Twenty-one year-old Dwayne was found injured in Little Garth, Pitsea on 7 July 2018 and died later.
Essex Police says since then, detectives have carried out an extensive investigation including taking 400 statements, seizing 820 exhibits, and viewing more than 180 hours of CCTV footage.
Today 24 year-old Hayden Line, of Esmond Close, Rainham, appeared at Southend Magistrates’ Court where he was charged with murder.
He has been remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Basildon Crown Court on Tuesday 11 January.
