OVERNIGHT closures of the A13 which will last for nearly a month get underway next week.
Essex County Council will be carrying out investigation work, known as trial hole, on all lanes of the Pitsea and Vange bypass.
This is ahead of carriageway reconstruction.
It means the road will be closed in both directions between 9pm and 5am each night.
The closures will begin next Monday (January 17) and continue for 27 nights, with an estimated finish date of Saturday, February 12.
