THREE men are being quizzed by police following a drugs raid in south Essex.

Officers in Rayleigh carried out an operation at a business yesterday (January 11) as part of a crackdown on drugs in Essex.

They reportedly found a large amount of cannabis, which was seized and taken away as part of an investigation.

Three men - aged 26, 27 and 29 – were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply.

They remain in custody.

The raid formed part of Operation Falcon which was launched by Essex Police several years ago.

It has seen a number of drug operations interrupted and dealers convicted for supplying class B and A drugs in south Essex.
