A TEENAGER had his moped seized by police after flouting a warning about anti-social riding.
Officers had spotted the moped being driven inappropriately while out on patrol on Canvey at the weekend.
They tried to stop the vehicle in Link Road but the driver evaded them for a while before eventually being caught.
Officers found the 16-year-old rider had already been handed a section 59 notice back in March for similar anti-social driving.

A section 59 order is an official warning that should a person be caught driving badly again in a 12-month period they will have their vehicle seized.
Officers confiscated the moped and reported the teenager for driving otherwise in accordance with a driving licence as they were carrying a pillion passenger on the moped.
