TWO men have been charged with dealing heroin and crack after police executed early morning raids in Basildon.
Specialist officers from the force’s Operation Raptor South team executed two warrants in the town on the morning of Wednesday, January 12 and arrested three people.
Two men have now been charged.
Gavon Smith, 29, of Palmer Road, London, and Marc Dickson, 40, of Scarletts, Basildon, have both been charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
Both men denied all charges in an appearance at Southend Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, January 13.
They are next due appear at Basildon Crown Court on February 2.
A third person, a woman from Basildon, who was arrested as part of the investigation has been issued a community resolution.
