A suspected paedophile has been arrested after being snared by an online vigilante group.
The man is being quizzed by officers after reports of sexual activity involving a child under the age of 16.
Broken Dreams Awareness shared a video of the man online On Behalf of Fleetwood Enforcers.
It shows a confrontation with the man at a home in Clicket Hill, Basildon last night.
In the footage he can be seen crying and responding the claims made by the group.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "A man has been arrested on suspicion of sexual activity involving a child under the age of 16. He was arrested in Clicket Hill, Basildon at around 8pm on Monday 17 January and is currently in custody."
Essex Police says he's since been released under investigation.
