A suspected drug dealer was arrested by police after failing a roadside test.
The arrest was made by officers from the Essex Roads Policing Team who had stopped a VW Golf in Basildon overnight.
The car had been flagged down because of information linking it to drugs.
Officers revealed on Twitter that the driver reportedly failed a drugs test for cocaine.
Class A drugs were then found hidden inside the vehicle, while the driver was also discovered to be carrying more than £800 in cash.
Both the driver and a passenger were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences and remain in custody for questioning.
