A FAMILY has paid tribute to “the best dad ever” and a “one in a million” man who died after falling from a window at Southend Hospital.

Aaron Deeley passed away aged 43 after falling from a third-floor window in the early hours of Friday.

The Canvey father-of-four leaves behind his loving wife Michelle and kids Hunter, 20, Alexis, 14, Destiny, 11, and Jason, 10.

Aaron had been admitted to hospital after an attempted overdose.

Paying tribute to Aaron, Michelle’s sister Louise Collins said: “It’s such a tragic loss because Aaron was the best dad ever. My sister didn’t have to worry for anything, she had Aaron and he was just her and the children’s whole world.

“We as a family knew she was always alright because she had Aaron. He didn’t have a single bad bone in his body, he was just an amazing man who absolutely adored his kids and his wife.

“Aaron was just one in a million, he really was a lovely man. Always had a smile on his face and was a delight to know.”

The 43-year-old who grew up in Shoebury was well known and liked in the area, Louise said.

Michelle and Aaron had been married for 12 years and together for 16 in a “loving relationship”.

He had worked as a supervisor at Sainsbury’s and Poundland in Basildon before taking time off work to become his wife’s carer.

Louise added: “We can’t even begin to describe the loss.

“He has left behind his wife, his four children, his sister and dad who are all utterly devastated. He and my sister were together for a wonderful 16 years and my heart bleeds for her loss.

“He was a family man. His kids never went without, he made sure they had everything they ever needed. He was such a great dad and it’s such an awful loss.”
