A driver who took three miles to stop for police has had their vehicle seized.
Officers had flagged down a white van on the A130 yesterday for lane hogging but it initially failed to stop.
When the driver did eventually pull over, police discovered he had no insurance and seized his car.
Officers from Essex Police’s Operational Support Group said on Twitter: “This van was hogging lane 3 of the A130 and even with blue lights & sirens flashing failed to move over for around 3 miles.

Officers had seen a BMW linked to the thefts parked at a Moto garage in Thurrock and waited for the driver to return to the vehicle before arresting him.
It follows an investigation into 12 different thefts of petrol from across the country.
