A mother has been found guilty of murdering her boyfriend at a drug and drink fuelling party.
Hannah Sindrey, 23, of Worcester Drive, Rayleigh, was found guilty by jury at Basildon Crown Court this morning.
Her co-defendant 25-year-old Kelly Blackwell of Retort Close, Southend was found not guilty of murder.
Paul Fletcher, 31, was stabbed at a flat in Worcester Drive in the early hours of January 1 last year.
Sindrey was screaming and swearing about the man as she was taken down and is due to be sentenced tomorrow.
Both women had denied the charges and blamed each other for Mr Fletcher’s death.
Mr Fletcher, known by friends as “Dod”, was in a relationship with Sindrey.
Police were called by a neighbour at 12.58am on New Year’s Day and Mr Fletcher was pronounced dead at 1.48am.
Officers said both Blackwell and Sindrey were “hysterical”, with Sindrey “kicking out and thrashing”.
