POLICE are hunting six men after a fight broke out among spectators at a boxing event held at a school.

The fight happened at Thorpe Hall School in Wakering Road, Southend, on the evening of Saturday, October 2.

Essex Police said it involved "a large group of spectators", with four men sustaining bruising and two losing consciousness.

The force said a large number of people would have witnessed the incident in an early appeal for witnesses to come forward.

Detectives are now trying to locate six men who are wanted for questioning following the incident of violent disorder.

Police have released images of the men on social media and are calling for the public to help identify the individuals.
