Visitors might spot purple smoke coming from the Pier tomorrow
RESDIENTS are asked not to be concerned if they see smoke coming out of the Southend Pier this Sunday.
It has been confirmed that the BBC will be on site tomorrow to carry out some filming.
This means visitors who plan a trip down to the Pier might spot purple smoke as part of the production.
A spokesman for the Pier said:" Don’t worry, there’s nothing to be alarmed about!
"The Pier will be open as usual from 10:15am - 6pm (last entry 5pm)."
