POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a hit-and-run accident,which left a cyclist injured.
It was reported that a blue Hyundai collided with a pedal cyclist on Elm Road, in Shoebury, at the junction with Hermes Way.
The incident happened at around 4.40pm this Tuesday.
The car also did not stop at the scene.
The cyclist was taken to hospital where it was confirmed that his foot had been fractured.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We need anyone who saw anything or has any CCTV, dash cam, or doorbell footage to contact us.
